Planning Blog for FLHS Freight Night Commercial

Today, my group and I went over what exactly we wanted to present in our commercial. We also discussed how we would execute it in a way that was easy but fun to understand. In this commercial, we want audience  to see how fun and creative Fort Lauderdale High students are while giving a little scare and laughter to it. For the commercial, Josh will be the person recording and I'll be an extra. Amina will be an innocent young girl who is in the hallway of building 21. Here she will bend down to pick up something and be approached by a scary person, Charli, with a mask on. Amina is going to be whisked away and wake up lost and confused. She's going to find herself at a party which is going to take place near outside of building 20 and 21. Amina will eventually start enjoying her time at FLHS Freight Night. During all of this, a voiceover will take place to add a more spooky feeling to the commercial.
As Amina and Charli created a storyboard just to get the ideas across, I began to write down what was going to be needed for props, costumes, scheduling, location list, and a backup plan. For props a knife for Charli. A knife is necessary because Charli is going to take on the role of a scary character. Cups are needed because those at the Freight Night party will be having a good time and the cups will give an even better understanding of what's taking place at the scene. For the costumes, Amina will wear a Red Riding Hood outfit to depict the innocent look. The basket is also included in costumes as Amina will use it to pick up something. Charli and possibly others in the crowd will have a mask on to appear scary and mysterious.

For the schedule, we start off by blogging our plan for our commercial and figure out who does what today which is Thursday, October 10,2019. By Monday, October 14,2019, the storyboard will be completed and ready to turn in. Tuesday, October 21,2019, we will film our commercial and take enough takes and shots so we have plenty to choose from. We will also use the storyboard to help guide us. Thursday, October 23,2019, is the day we will edit and make sure the commercial is worthy of being turned in. After that the project should be ready to turn in. For the location of the commercial, the beginning of it will take place in building 21 hallway. After we will transition to the party scene where we possibly end the commercial. The backup plan for this project is a commercial on Fort Lauderdale Cambridge students to show their daily lives and issues. We will show scholars sleeping, slacking on homework, and doing everything people don't believe they actually do.
